This book tells a tragic story of sudden, unexpected death, as well as the happy life of the author with her fiancé before the event. I wanted this contrast to be present on the cover, as well as pop at the immediate mention of death. I was able to also design the interior of this book. Because the author wanted the images to be in full color when possible and self-publishing printers only allow for all black and white or all color interiors, I was excited to be able to include hints of color in other places like the folios and chapter openers.
