BORDER STUDIES
TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY PRESS
Tracing and undoing the intersecting violences of the migrant experience.

Much of the imagery surrounding family separation has featured chainlink fences; consequently, they were one of the first things that came to mind when brainstorming for this cover. The idea of being separated by this seemingly impenetrable fence is simply portrayed by having half the title behind and half the title in front of it. It's unclear which side we're on, but it's evident we aren't together.
For this title I have designed the cover and jacket, full interior, and a postcard.
