JEWISH HISTORY / MUSIC
TEXAS TECH UNIVERSITY PRESS
The story of one Los Angeles rabbi's new vision for liturgical music.
The challenge of this cover was incorporating both the image of Sonderling himself and the idea of music. In the interest of cohesion, I made them a clean monochrome blue. Blue fits well because it is a color often used in Jewish imagery. I chose to use a mixed-case small cap for the old school classical eloquence it connotes.
For this title I have designed the full cover, interior, and a postcard.
