Oil is old business in Texas, so a classic and clean serif was in order for this cover. Paired with the most elegant image of an oil pumpjack I could locate, I hoped to capture the dignity of this memoir.

For this title I've designed the cover and jacket along with a postcard, web banners, and the interior. I've also included here a cover that was not chosen.
