For this cover I wanted to play with the idea of gerrymandering and separating the cover into sections that don't necessarily make sense. I broke up the title to make it larger and to be able to clearly separate letters. As an extra touch I used an old map of Texas districts in the background.

It was really fun to continue this idea on the interior of the book by also sectioning off the chapter titles. I also played around with color on the interior, adding a gray to make the sections even clearer and applying touches here and there.

For this title I've designed the full cover with spine and back, the interior, and a postcard.
