Hill Country Ball unearths the forgotten Sunday traditions of Fredericksburg, Boerne, and Kerrville, where German settlers transformed baseball into a cultural bedrock.
Rather than flatten this story of many teams, cities, and players to one single, simple image, I wanted to showcase multiple players in a way that displayed the vibrancy of the book. The red background adds interest and a way to make these historical images pop.
For this title I've designed the cover, spine and back, full interior, and a postcard.
